Barrel Bash: Games Design and Development [Unreal Engine 5.0.3]

The aim of the game is to knock down as many barrels as possible within 30 seconds. The time limit encourages the player to focus on speed, aim and efficiency. Through developing this project, I have learnt many tools and techniques in Unreal Engine. I look forward to developing 'Barrel Bash' further by creating more 3D models and altering the level design.

This video demonstrates the problems I was having when projectiles were coming in to contact with the shelf.

This was the actors original collision mesh, which explained why projectiles were unrealistically bouncing off of the shelves.

I altered the collision mesh for a more realistic interaction with projectiles and so that the shelves could be utilised as intended.
